Solstice Romp
Join us for a day in the woods!
We’ll adventure out into the forest to explore the beauty of Milo McIver Park, craft solstice decorations from wild harvested materials, and tell stories around the fire, while we sip our cocoa.

Families already enrolled in the Wild & Free Program: do not fill out the registration form. Contact the instructor to reserve your spot.
Class size is limited to 8 students
What To Bring
A packed lunch with additional snack
Waterproof Jacket and Pants, plus extra warm layers
Hats and Gloves
Shoes that are good for climbing, hiking and running.
Large water bottle (potable water available for refills.)
A change of clothes including socks.
A backpack your child is able to use to carry all of their items.
(Extra Clothes and Lunches can be stored in instructor’s car.)
Getting Here
Milo McIver Park is located in Estacada approximately 30 minutes from Portland.
We will be meeting at the Alder covered picnic area. There is normally a $5 entry fee into the park. However, drop off and pick up should be allowed without paying the parking fee.
We recommend carpooling with other families for ease of travel. If you are interested in carpooling please reach out to be added to the carpooling text thread. We will do our best to facilitate, but cannot guarantee a carpooling match.
